A pair of new buffer boards to go with this board costs $170 (if available); buffer boards are often the source of failure of Y-main boards, so please make sure to test them as well!

FAILURE SYMPTOMS

A failed LJ92-01275A usually results in a TV coming up to a dark screen or TV that does not want to come up at all.

Often times you can see burning signs on the left side of the board (when looking from the back of the TV) and when you do the board may or may not be repairable at all depending on how bad the burn is.

Other, less frequent failure can result in faint, white-grayish type of picture.

Horizontal lines running through the display are not andcan not be caused by this board.

Of course the board may also fail in many other ways, so do not take this as a complete list; those were just the most common indicators for a failed board.

BOARD AND WARRANTY CONDITIONS

The board you will receive will be a used one.

Most likely it will be a board serviced by us - Coppell TV Repair - and in all cases it will be tested by Coppell TV Repair before being slated for use or sale.

There is a known consideration with all DELL Y-Main boards manufactured in 2005-2008: they often fall victims of failed buffer boards, meaning that buffer boards tend to fail and when they do they overload and damage the Y-Main sustain boards that drive them.

Which means that it is highly possible that your TV may have a failed buffer board and even if it doesn't it may have an already aged buffer board (actually two of them) ready to fail at any time.

As such we can not offer a warranty for the board here.

We can, upon your request prior to placing an order, record a video proving the board is working well in an actual TV set. But we do not do that explicitly for every board we service, at least not yet. It is too time consuming.

Put another way there are no warranties for this board unless purchased with a pair of brand new buffer boards (through a separate listing; if you can't find one at our site please contact us!).

We ship USPS Priority or UPS Ground.

REQUIREMENTS FOR RECEIVING CREDIT FOR YOUR OLD MODULE

Upon receiving and installing the purchased module you can return your old one to receive the advertised credit.

The credit will normally be issued as a partial refund towards your original payment; when this is impossible or inapplicable we may use other forms of payment such as PayPal or check.

It takes 2-3 business days after the delivery of your board to us for it to be processed and the refund issued.

In order to receive the full advertised credit the returned dud must meet all of the following conditions:

1) It must be sent back within 14 calendar days of the delivery of the module you purchased from us, both per carriers' records. Make sure you keep your tracking number, you may need it!

2) The board must arrive in good physical condition allowing subsequent electrical repair and reuse of the board. Sometimes when components fail and burn they also leave burn marks on the board. Most of the time such traces are not affecting the ability to restore the board's functionality, but in some extreme cases this may be a problem.

3) The board must not have missing or replaced components or have otherwise been tampered with.

Exceptions vary from all 3 listed conditions, but we reserve the right to be the judge on whether your board qualifies for an exception.

If a board arrives that does not meet the above conditions and we do not consider it appropriate for extension we will contact you and offer you to get it back for the sole cost of the return shipping and/or offer you a trade-in price we consider reflecting its condition.

The returned module must arrive in good physical condition and without previous traces of repairs or tampering in order to qualify for the full advertised credit.

Modules that do not meet those criteria will be subjected to partial refund or no refund at all (depending on their condition and trade-in value).
