This listing is for a barely used buffer board Samsung LJ92-01202A / LJ41-02760A as shown on the picture and used in a great number of 42'' plasma TVs utilizing sustain board LJ92-01200A.
The board is the newer style that Samsung has produced after it ran out of replacement buffers and under heavy demand; the new buffers have 4 100-bit shift output registers whereas the originals have 6 64-bit registers (see second picture).
The boards are fully equivalent, only the newer style is slightly more reliable and when it fails it's usually just one (the very top) IC whereas the classic 6 IC boards often develop failure on most all of the ICs at the same time.
A damaged Y-Main board LJ92-01200A can easily kill newly installed buffers we are in no position to offer what would be considered a standard DOA either: if your Y-Main is bad in a particular (and not uncommon) way then the buffer will be killed the first time you put it to work on that Y-Main.
Because of that
THE BUFFER BOARD IS OFFERRED "AS-IS", WITHOUT ANY KIND OF WARRANTY!
THIS MEANS THE BOARDS CAN NOT BE RETURNED FOR ANY REASON.
You can test the buffers as explained at our blog and that would allow you to detect apparent shortages, which are luckily the most common type of failure they develop. Still, sometimes a board can fail in a way that would result in perfect testing results with a DMM and would allow TV to power up with picture, but there will be defective horizontal lines making it useless.
