Coppell TV Repair LLC is offering a repair kit for a common failure we have seen in LG power supply board EAY58316301 / PSPU-J806A.
The power supply board is used in LG 50PQ20-UA, LG 50PQ30-UA, Sanyo DP50749 P50749-01 and possibly others.
Note this repair kit requires soldering skills and equipment (not provided).

FAILURE SYMPTOMS
External failure symptom of the failure that this repair kit addresses is the TV clicking once upon attempt to turn it on and them almost immediately clicking right back off and never actually coming up.
The same failure symptom can be shown for a numeber of other reasons, though, and is not reliable indication you need this kit.
If you can check fuse F801 on the board and find it open that is a definite indication that you need this repair kit, just as if you find either of the two power transistors Q801 and Q802 shorted between any two of their legs.

At time of creating this repair kit the contents were as follows: F801, Q801, Q802, IC801.
DIFFICULTY LEVEL
Easy to medium. Generic soldering equipment should allow doing the job.
Patience and attention are always recommended.
Improper handling may cause additional damage. If you are not certain you can undertake the service consider using our repair services instead.

Most of the repair kits we offer are based on first hand experience servicing boards at our repair facility.
Over time they may get expanded with our own experience or information from manufacturer service bulletins, customer feedback etc.
Yet failure can be unique and there can not be guarantee that what has worked one, ten or even hundred times will also work the next one.
Just as important, every repair involves about equal portion of quality of parts and quality of worksmanship and as we have no control over the worksmanship quality unless we are the ones performing it we would be unwise to provide warranty of the products utilized by that worksmanship.
As such, no warranty is offered on this product once the components in it are soldered on a board.
