Repair service for TOSHIBA 32AV502R intermittent shutdown, random shutoff

If your Toshiba 32AV502R tends to shut off shortly after being powered on or refuses to power on at all then it is likely that it needs this repair service
$59.95

SERVICE DESCRIPTION - PLEASE READ IN FULL!

Coppell TV Repair offers REPAIR SERVICE for your Toshiba 32AV502R LCD TV.

REPAIR SERVICE means that you have to send us your malfunctioning board which we will attempt to repair, test and return back to you.

Symptoms

This service may be able to resolve several different problems experienced with the TV:

1) Completely dead TV - no standby power indication, no response to remote or local control buttons

2) Intermittent shutdown - if you power on the TV and it works fine for a while (could be several seconds, could be minutes or even hours) and then unable to power it back on

3) Inability to power on despite of the green LED indicator on the front indicates response to power on/off commands

Please note: this repair service will NOT resolve problems like horizontal or vertical lines going through the entire screen or spider-web effect on the display (broken screen)!

Required boards and board requirements

We advise that you disassemble and send us the board(s) shown on the picture(s):

1) Power supply board
2) The main board

The boards we receive MUST be in good physical condition and must NOT have been tampered with.

The fixed price offerred for the repair service is based on the assumption that boards have not been worked on. Additional human interaction often introduces new problems and at the very least extends the time for eliminating trouble possibilities thus raising the cost.

If we receive boards with traces of custom repair efforts we will reject to service them or refuse to offer warranty.

If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.

Processing time

Typical processing time for the repair is within two business days; if we have any probems that require more time (be it overload or technical problems) we will contact you with an update and request for more time.

We have a fairly high success ratio, but we still do not guarantee success; if we can't get the board to work, though, you will not need to pay.

Payment

Presently we do not charge in advance for repair services.

Instead, once the board(s) are received, tested, found to be defective, serviced and tested again to success we send a payment request to the customer.

If something along the process - such as unexpected difficulty or finding a board to be functional - arises we contact the customer via email and/or phone and disscuss options.

Service charges / diagnostic fees

Customer is responsible for the return shipping costs in all cases. Those may be rounded up by $1-$2 or (rarely) slightly more or slightly less, but are not purposefully inflated to cover hidden fees. Expect them to be about the same or less as what you pay to send the package to us.

Repair cost of a board or boards will NOT surpass the advertised price for that board(s). Note, however, that you may need to have more boards serviced/replaced in the TV.

If we identify the board(s) as serviceable and undertake a service attempt and we fail we will not charge you service or diagnostic fees. In other words we do not get money if we do not succeed at repairs.

If board(s) arrive and is/are determined to be functional and customer does not want it serviced then we charge up to $25 diagnostic fee on the first board and $10 for every one after it. The diagnostic fee is NOT applied on a board that ends up being serviced as the testing costs are already incorporated in the service cost.
