1) As with all power supply boards please exercise caution and allow the board 5-10 minutes after disconnecting from power before starting to work on it!
2) When using a substitute for Q406 it will come with scratched identification on the corpus; we do that to prevent competitors (often without repair experience whatsoever) to copy what we come up with after investing time and money in actual repairs.
